Storytelling

Several sessions were undertaken with some of the village seniors and the Primary Seven pupils (7B) of Neilston Primary School between February and March 2011.

The sessions were supported by a storyteller and artist working for the Village Storytelling Centre. These sessions culminated in the production of 32 images and 32 stories of their vision and experience of Cowden Hall, at what was a spirited and enjoyable event for all involved.

The children selected seven images as the most representative and best response to several considerations including; historic value, sustainability, and a young person’s interest.
